Kenya and Seychelles Itinerary

Things to note

• Check age limit for safari drives, this differs at each place you stay. Our son has 5 years old when he joined us and he could come with us on the game drives.

• Yellow fever vaccination is required when travelling to some countries, Seychelles was one of them

• We travelled in April and weather was good but check weather for when you go.

Itinerary Overview

Day 1

• Depart from London, UK, to Nairobi, Kenya.

• Stay overnight at a hotel near the airport.

Day 2

• Transfer to Wilson Airport and take a domestic flight to an airstrip near Fairmont Mara Safari Club.

• Settle into the lodge.

Day 3-7

• Enjoy daily safari drives and wildlife adventures while staying at Fairmont Mara Safari Club.

Day 7

• Morning game drive.

• Fly back to Nairobi and stay overnight at a hotel near the airport.

Day 8

• Fly to Mahé, Seychelles, with Kenya Airways.

• Stay at Le Meridien Fisherman’s Cove, located on Beau Vallon Beach (Note: A yellow fever certificate is required if you’ve stayed in Kenya for over 24 hours).

Day 8-12

• Relax and explore Seychelles while staying at Le Meridien Fisherman’s Cove for 5 nights.

Day 12

• Afternoon flight back to Nairobi, arriving late evening.

Day 13-14

• Explore Nairobi:

  • Dine at Carnivore Restaurant.

  • Visit Nairobi National Park, Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Karen the Hub, and downtown Nairobi.

• Stay in Nairobi for 2 nights.

Day 14

• Fly back to London, UK.

What to Pack

• Clothing:

  • Neutral-colored clothes for safaris.

  • Warm items for mornings and evenings.

  • Waterproof jacket and swimming attire.

• Essentials:

  • Malaria tablets, sunscreen, sunglasses, sun hats.

  • Insect repellent and basic medicines (paracetamol, stomach remedies, plasters).

• Gear:

  • Snorkeling equipment.
